I blog every wedding I photograph up to 7 days after the wedding day. My couples love this part of the package as they get an instant look into how I photographed their day and quite often get to share this with their friends and family whilst they are on honeymoon! Jo and Dean Stoke Park Wedding Photographer

I had a fantastic time last Saturday photographing Joanne and Dean’s wedding at Danesfield House. The whole day went perfectly and we were blessed with one of the best golden hours I have ever photographed in as your see below.

Jo and Dean had been planning their big day for many months and it was fun following their wedding day countdown on social media. I was super excited to photograph a wedding at Danesfield House for the first time and with such a beautiful couple both inside and out.

Jo and Dean had added so many personal touches to their wedding, the details were in abundance and everything looked so beautiful. Dean arrived in style, in a bright orange Maclaren and Jo looked stunning in her dress. She took her father Colin’s breath away when he saw her for the first time and of course had the same reaction from Dean as she walked down the aisle.

The ceremony room was stunning with big chandeliers hanging above the aisles and flower candelabras all around the room. It was packed with all their friends and family watching on as they read their own vows which I always think is such a lovely thing to do and makes the ceremony that bit more personal.

The weather was great and everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés in the beautiful gardens whilst we did a few group shots before heading in for dinner.

During dinner the guests had been busy writing questions for a game of Mr and Mrs that was played before the speeches. Another great idea and so much fun to capture.

The speeches went down a treat with Colin, Dean and the two best men doing a fab job. Dean was made to don a shell suit, wig and chain during the best mans speech if your wondering whats going on in the pictures below.

After the speeches the sunlight was perfect so we headed out with Jo and Dean to create some stunning portraits of them both around the grounds. I honestly don’t think I have ever shot in better light and Jo and Dean couldn’t fail to look good wherever I put them. We were truly blessed!

Next up was a round of shots for all the guests and then the bouquet throw which was another fun moment of the day as your see below.

The boys enjoyed a cigar in the gardens before everyone headed in for the cake cut followed by the happy couples first dance as husband and wife. Then the band got the party started and we enjoyed capturing the many shapes thrown on the dance floor.

We couldn’t leave without getting a shot for Jo and Dean next to the rows of trees lit up with fairy lights. It was the perfect finishing shot to a fantastic wedding day.
