I blog every wedding I photograph up to 7 days after the wedding day. My couples love this part of the package as they get an instant look into how I photographed their day and quite often get to share this with their friends and family whilst they are on honeymoon! You can view my most recent posts below.
Last Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing Tori and Sav’s beautiful wedding at Hedsor House in Taplow.
I couldn’t wait to get started and met Tori at her parents house nice and early to start covering her bridal preparations. The house was buzzing with activity whilst Tori had her hair and make up done, lots of laughs and plenty of excitement from Tori’s son Jude who looked super dapper in his suit. Tori looked simply stunning in her dress and I loved the moment she walked down the stairs to see her very proud father for the first time.
Sav arrived at the church in style. Tori had pulled out all the stops and not only bought Sav a Rolex as his wedding gift but also arranged for a vintage Fiat for Sav to drive to the church in with his Best Man.
There were many tears as Tori walked down the aisle to join hands with Sav before Father John conducted a beautiful service. There was lots of involvement from family and friends with readings, lighting of candles and prayers throughout and it was a joy to capture it all.
Out into the sunshine and confetti filled the air and everyone congratulated Tori and Sav before boarding the vintage London bus and making their way to Hedsor House. I stopped along the way with Tori and Sav at the cemetery to lay down some flowers for Sav’s Grandad which was a lovely gesture and a privilege to capture the moment.
Hedsor House is a fantastic wedding venue and has been featured in over 20 feature films and many TV dramas. The grounds are stunning and it was great that everyone got to enjoy them during the drinks reception whilst we did a few group shots and spent some time with Tori and Sav for their couple shots.
It was soon time for everyone to head in for the wedding breakfast which was followed by the speeches. Always one of my favourite parts of the wedding day to capture, both the speakers and the guests provided us with so many photo opportunities. Lovely stories shared, many laughs and again a few tears. A great end to the wedding breakfast.
After dinner the sun was starting the set so we nipped out for a few sunset shots with Tori, Sav and Jude. Theres a great view from Hedsor and we made the most of it and the great evening light as you’ll see below.
Soon it was time for the happy couples first dance and what with Sav being Italian one of the traditions is to wrap the bride and groom in streamers during the dancing. This was great fun and they were well and truly covered by the end of it, they did well to break out!
The final surprise of the day was a fireworks display which was fantastic and again provided us with a some great photos which will end Tori and Sav’s album perfectly!
