I blog every wedding I photograph up to 7 days after the wedding day. My couples love this part of the package as they get an instant look into how I photographed their day and quite often get to share this with their friends and family whilst they are on honeymoon! Natalie and Danilo Farnham Castle Wedding Photographer

On Saturday I had the pleasure of visiting Farnham Castle for the first time to photograph Natalie and Danilo’s beautiful wedding. The sun was shining, the setting was perfect and Natalie and Danilo are such a great couple I just knew the day was going to be an absolute cracker!!

I arrived at Farnham Castle and met with Danilo and the Groomsmen who were all busy making finishing touches to the many beautiful details in and around the ceremony and reception rooms. Natalie had written Danilo a lovely letter which also came with a stunning pocket watch as her gift to him on their wedding day. All the groomsmen looked super sharp in their suits and it was great fun photographing them around the grounds before they started to greet the many guests who were arriving from all over the country and abroad.

Natalie was one of the most relaxed brides I have ever had, just enjoying the mornings preparations with her bridesmaids. She looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress complete with a dazzling pair of Jimmy Choos! It was impossible to take a bad picture of her and I love the shot of her walking up the stone steps to the ceremony, like something out of a fairytale.

The ceremony room was full to capacity and the ceremony itself had so many lovely moments. You couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces and it was a pleasure to watch them read their vows and exchange rings to become Mr and Mrs Carri!

Everyone lined the steps as they were introduced as husband and wife and confetti filled the air and they made their way into the gardens to enjoy drinks and canapés in the sunshine. Once again so many lovely moments of everyone congratulating the happy couple along with some group and couple shots around the beautiful grounds. There are so many great spots to use at Farnham Castle, we were totally spoilt for choice.

It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and the reception room was full with amazing flower arrangements and table details. We even had an aerial view from the balcony which made for some fun shots as many glasses were chimed meaning the couple has to kiss (an Italian tradition). The food was delicious and enjoyed by all.

Next up was the speeches, Natalie’s Mum had put together a fantastic video with many lovely messages from guests who couldn’t be there and also a couple of carpool karaoke skits from Natalie’s friends, such good fun. Danilo also did a great job of thanking the many people who had helped the wedding be such a great event and of course some beautiful words about his new wife. Best Man Mark and Danilo’s father Joe finished off the speeches with so many hilarious one liners and funny stories. It was all a joy to capture.

As the sun started to set we headed off to “The Keep” which is an area of the castle still in it’s original state. We were treated with some colourful skies as I took some beautiful portraits before we all headed back to the gardens for the throwing of the bouquet which was caught by Danilo’s sister Nadia.

The days formalities finished with Natalie and Danilo’s first dance as husband and wife followed by a live band which had many of the guests dancing the night away.

Natalie and Danilo, thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wedding day. Rich and I had such a great time with you both and all your lovely friends and family. I hope you enjoy reliving the day through the sneak peek of photos below whilst reading this in Mauritius with a cocktail in hand. I look forward to sharing the full collection with you both soon.
