I blog every wedding I photograph up to 7 days after the wedding day. My couples love this part of the package as they get an instant look into how I photographed their day and quite often get to share this with their friends and family whilst they are on honeymoon! Ravern and Josh Nether Winchenden Wedding Photographer

It was such a pleasure to photograph Ravern and Josh’s wedding last Saturday at the always stunning Nether Winchendon House.

I met up with Ravern and all her lovely bridesmaids at the bridal suite also known as “The West House” , which is beautifully decorated and was a hive of activity as all the girls were being pampered with hair and make up whilst enjoying a few glasses of champagne. Ravern looked amazing in her beautiful lace dress and long veil and there were a few happy tears as she saw her proud father for the first time.

Josh and the Groomsmen were busy setting up the chairs for the outdoor ceremony and greeting guests as they arrived. Josh looked super sharp in his custom made suit and waistcoat and the excitement was building as the ceremony edged closer.

The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony and it was a lovely to see Ravern walk down the aisle with her father to join hands with a very happy Josh. The ceremony was conducted by Zena Birch who had really got to know Ravern and Josh well in the lead up to the wedding and this made the ceremony so personal with many stories stories shared about their lives together. It was a joy to listen to and capture and all in such stunning surroundings.

The happy couple walked back down the aisle through a tunnel of confetti and off onto the terrace at the back of the main house to enjoy drinks and canapés with all their guests. Syler, who is an amazing magician entertained everyone with mind blowing tricks whilst we did some family and bridal photos around the grounds. The atmosphere was so chilled and the combination of great weather, lovely people and an amazing setting made for such a fantastic drinks reception.

It was soon time to head to the carriage barn which had been decorated with stunning flower arrangements and hanging lanterns. Everyone enjoyed a three course meal before they were throughly entertained by the speeches which were hilarious! To finish off a perfect wedding breakfast one of Ravern’s bridesmaids, Nadine sang a flawless version of Alicia Key’s “If I ain’t got you”.

With the sun starting to set we headed off to do a few last couple portraits on the bridge and around the main house, the light was great and Syler amazed us with a few more tricks before we headed in to get the party started with the first dance!

Ravern and Josh, thanks so much for asking me to photograph your wedding, your such a great couple and we had an absolute blast with you both and all your friends and family. I hope your sat in LA reading this and having a great honeymoon. I couldn’t wait to get started on your sneak peek so here it is…..
