I blog every wedding I photograph up to 7 days after the wedding day. My couples love this part of the package as they get an instant look into how I photographed their day and quite often get to share this with their friends and family whilst they are on honeymoon! Catherine and Liam - The Tythe Barn Wedding Photographer

On Monday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Catherine and Liam at the beautiful Tythe Barn in Launton.

We were blessed with fantastic weather which meant that the ceremony would take place outside in the picturesque gardens. Catherine looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her father Paul to join hands with Liam.

The ceremony was full of smiles, readings from friends and beautiful music from a harpist. Catherine and Liam are both such lovely genuine people and it was such a pleasure to capture them reading their vows and exchanging rings to become husband and wife!

With Liam being in the military there was a lovely tradition of crossing swords before they could walk back down the aisle and as this was being done their guests filled the air with bubbles to add to the magic and provide us with some great photo opportunities.

Everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés on the lawn whilst guests congratulated the new Mr and Mrs Connors. We had some time for group and couple shots also and it was great fun using the many great areas of the barn.

Soon it was time for the wedding breakfast. The barn was decorated beautifully and Catherine and Liam had so many lovely details throughout from photos of them and their friends, the amazing cake, flowers, bikes, printed signs and crates, I could go on and on. Everything was designed to perfection!

The speeches were next up and what a cracking set of speeches they were. Paul, Liam and Ben did a great job. Ben’s Best Man’s speech had everyone in fits of laughter and was delivered perfectly. We loved capturing every laugh, smile and moment as you’ll see below.

With the sun slowly setting we nipped out for some sunset shots which I absolutely love. The light was perfect and we also took the bridal party to the drive for some fun shots of them all before heading in for the first dance.

The party soon got started with a live band and the most impressive photo booth I have ever seen, an American style airstream which proved very popular with all the guests.

Catherine and Liam, from the moment I met you both I just knew I wanted to photograph your wedding and I’m so happy you asked me to. I hope you have a fantastic time in Santorini and that you enjoy reliving your beautiful wedding day through this sneak peek of images, theres plenty more to come
